Program Learning Outcomes: Social Science Teaching

Students will demonstrate effective oral skills and competencies in communicating about human societies and past events.
Students will be able to create (secondary-school appropriate) objectives/outcomes for Social Studies courses, units, and lesson-plans
Students will demonstrate an ability to teach (secondary) Social Studies topics using primary and secondary sources.
Students will devise a rubric for grading social-studies tests/assignments.
