BIOL 4070 - Capstone: History & Literature of Biology3 Credit(s)
Study of the historical development of biology relative to personal philosophies of scientists and to social, cultural and technological factors by reading of science literature. Three hours of lecture per week. A minimum grade of “C” (2.0 or above) must be earned in this course before it can be counted in a biological science major or minor or as a prerequisite for any other biology course. (Spring Even Years)
Prerequisite: BIOL 3110 and satisfactory completion of ETS Major Field Exam.
